Hm, the word “pricked” carries the idea of some minor degree of hurt or discomfort. It seems that when we face big trials we tend to see it in the light of Scripture, (in my case it is because God has got all my attention if something really horrible happens) but what happens when someone speaks to us in a slightly condescending manner, or if someone laughs at our ignorance? Do we immediately think of Scripture and apply it to the situation at hand, or do we see crimson droplets of our fallen nature seeping through?

Ah, I’ve heard that statement before. It’s so sharp, accurate and to the point.
Keep shining David.
